Local band Long Thaw is having a CD release party on Tuesday, December 8th, @ 9 p.m. at the Bottom of the Hill. Please note this is NOT a free event, but the cover’s only $8. Check out the band’s MySpace site, or read this review from the S.F. Bay Guardian.
(Oh, and by the way, The Scene will be there, but purely in a fan-o’-the-band capacity.)

A quick heads-up:
For those of you who are East Bay bound, The Scene has it on good authority that Blair Hansen is holding a CD release party at Caffe Trieste at their Berkeley location on Friday, Nov. 20th (tomorrow night). Other artists lending their support for this event include the Bittersweet Trio and Judea Eden, who The Scene has previously reviewed.
Go check it out and hear some great chick rock chock full o’ purpose-driven lyric.
